After 8 weeks of raising these cornish cross chickens it was finaly time. I had planned other times to butcher my roosters and allways found an excuse to give them away. With cornish crosses, it is inhumane to keep them alive... they would die of heart attacks and their legs would break under their own weight.

I must say, 8 weeks of these was more than enough. I moved their tractor 2x a day and they still killed my grass. I never looked forward to anything dieing before but I was ready 2 weeks ago. I probably wont raise them again, but I am glad to know how to do it just in case I would need to some day.
