just filled my silverado this morning at hess - $3.57 per gallon = $100 to fillerup.

 

$3.49 regular, but my Silverado won't burn regular. It soots up the intake manifold and tail pipe.

So, it's $3.60 and $3.82 for premium. I alternate and it's ~$100 or maybe a little more to fill up.

I "thought" that all new engines were engineered to burn the crappy ethanol. Not so.

 

According to the article this is the earliest in the year gas prices have risen to above $3.50 per gallon on average in the US.

Sunoco 93 octane is $3.82 in SE Georgia.

 

In Denver, down the street there is a station selling regular for $2.88 a gallon (I'd never put this in my car mind you). Near my house, Safeway was at $2.95 (less the 3¢ discount) but most stations appear to be right at the $2.99 a gallon mark for Regular.

 

Today is $1.31/litre, but have heard that New Brunswicks' (nearest province to ours) went up today, so expect ours to go up for tomorrow's drive to work. (our prices are changed Thursday at midnight).

 

All three grades are over $3.00 her in the Denver area. I put the cheap stuff in a few days ago and the cost was $3.09. I didn't pay too much attention to the other prices.

That comes out to around USD $8.08/ga.

100 octane (racing gas) = $7.89/gal. at the 76 station in North Highlands (PRK).
I do use this sometimes if I don't have any NO2 or octane booster with me.

$3.89 (Premium) in North Highlands AM/PM. This is what I use if I have NO2 or octane booster.
$3.65 "Cheap" stuff. I can't use this at all.

My car doesn't run well at all on pump gas of any grade under 99 octane, so it costs me extra for additives, or NO2 unfortunately. Even with the additives, it's still cheaper than 76's racing gas.
