Remember that they never ceased to see us as "deplorables," "xenophobes," "racists;" as "bitter" people who "cling to guns or religion."

This is another reason to vote for President Trump on 11/3/2020. I don't like everything he's done/said and I wish in some areas he'd done better or differently but he's all we have and if a Democrat defeats him, the borders will be hurled wide open in the final nail in the coffin of the prestige and price and value of U.S. citizenship, firearms will be vilified even further, and Cultural Marxism will run even more rampant.

I would like either one of those three idiots to name 10 cities in Ukraine without looking at a map, because I can and I know there are a few more on here that can d the same. Hell I bet they do not even know what the Russian word Privet means. What morons.

I don't know if I can do 10 off the top of my head but 6 yeah. And I can say where those are located, which rivers or seas they border and some of the major battles fought in those places. 10, though? I probably need that map. Especially since Russia took the Crimea from the Ukraine. If that were still part of the Ukraine, then I could do 9.

I really don't care what they think

It does how ever show how stupid and uninformed they are and it really exposes their own ignorance and xenophobia

Why is all liberals think they are so much smarter than everyone else?

to be honest SOL, I could probably name a lot more than 10 but I just picked that number out of thin air to give those liberal retards a margin of error. I could even tell you which Oblast they were in and there location in reference to each other as well as which ones are largest to smallest by population as well as area. But I am guessing that neither one of those three could name anymore than one or two.

The Ukraine is not my area of operations lol. Ask me about other countries, especially more important ones. Honestly, the only reason I know the ones in Ukraine that I do is because they used to be part of the USSR, same with Belarus.

I know an awful lot about former USSR states. I am on a Russian social networking site because I have friends that live there. Occasionally someone from one of the other countries request that I be their friend so I can help them learn English and I accept. It also helps me to learn Russian. Since I can't have total immersion, this is the next best thing to learn a language. That and I listen to their songs and watch their videos to help me learn. My next Language will be Chinese and I'll learn what I can about them.

Russia did NOT take Crimea from Ukraine. Soviet communist premier Nikita Khrushchev took Crimea from Russia and gave it to Ukraine in 1954 despite the fact it had been part of Russia for hundreds of years and part of the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic since the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917.

The Crimean people voted overwhelmingly to return home and become part of the present day Russian Federation. Over 90% of the Crimean people voted to get out of Ukraine which had been the subject of a violent, illegal regime change.

Batko, it does nothing for the image of Russia though when they are sending in special forces and heavy weapons to separatist that do not know how to use them, thereby causing the shooting down of a civilian aircraft. And then deny such actions when clear evidence has been shown to the contrary. I am primarily speaking of the Donetsk Region where intel reports have shown photographic evidence of Russian interference with the separatist movement.

Way to think ahead ghost, because you will need to know those languages soon after Demonrats get back in power.

I could only name 4 Ukraine cities(5 if you count Sevastopol). Not too shabby for a glorified clown.
Sorry BHU, Sevastopol and Simpferopol are in Crimea which has just been re-annexed by Russian so are legitimately Russian Territory now. But I will give you credit for that. Also Alushta is in Crimea as well so that one can't be named either.

Batko10, there have been times we have disagreed, but there have also been times which I clearly remember where you and I agreed, and strongly so. This is an example.

Nikita Khrushchev was born in Russia but very close to the border with the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, and Khruschev's political career was built in large part within the Ukrainian Communist Party, starting in the 1920s to when he was appointed as head of the party by Stalin himself in 1937. And after Stalin's death, the senior leadership of the Soviet Union authorized the transfer of Crimea from Russia the Ukrainian SSR. Khruschev was pivotal in this as he, while an ethnic Russian, was very personally fond of Ukraine.

For centuries before the birth of either Stalin or Khruschev, Crimea had been Russian. All of this is ignored by the media in what was an effort to portray the Russian takeover of Crimea as an act of military conquest, invasion, and aggression.

Crimea just has a geography problem. It went from Tatar control into ethnic Russian control about 1800, but was geographically separated from Russia proper. Native Ukrainians never had much influence or control there.

Sevastopol is like our Hampton Roads or Peal Harbor. Strategically essential.

Any solution there has to keep these facts as part of the equation.

That new big bridge is the true solution. Get that bridge big and robust. Tell Ukraine the Crimea was never theirs and get over it. Then Russia needs to get the hell out of eastern Ukraine.

It won't be pretty but that's what will work in the long haul.

Rick is an enjoyable NeverTrumper follow on twitter, the man can write some funny insults. This video will help Trump's reelection chances more then hurt them though.

The original incident they're referencing, Pompeo implicating that a journalist with a masters degree in european studies mistook Bangladesh on a map for Ukraine, was such an obvious lie it was hard to take the other things he said about it seriously.

The irony that this thread about "left wing" intellectuals questioning the education of "right wing" Trump supporters began due to a "right wing" Trump Supporter(Pompeo) questioning the education of a "left wing" intellectual should not be lost on anybody. But I suspect it has been up until now.

You're living in the wrong era! Regardless of what you think of Russians, the nation is no longer communist, but nationalist, Orthodox Christian, and is one of the leading nations blocking the globalists (along with most Eastern European countries).

The "Demonrats" were big lovers of Soviet communism, even to the point that Ted Kennedy colluded with the KGB. Today's "Demonrats" are more allied in spirit and political philosophy with the globalists of Western Europe who pretend to be our allies. The DNC has no love of Russia since 1991 and the fall of Soviet communism.

This is truth. My own brother is a raging lib. He never once had a bad thing to say about Russia or the bloc while we grew up during the cold war. Now all of a sudden it's Russia Russia Russia.

They fear any form of nationalism because it may ruin the goals of globalism.

You can't have both after all, so naturally Russia is a threat.
