I can't open it. I guess you have to sign up first. My mom lived during the depression. She told me she remembers her mother bringing back things from the woods and fields for them to eat. I still remember my gram telling us to pick dandelions and the leaves to eat and make dandelion wine. LOL Actually the leaves aren't bad if you boil them a lot. Pine nuts are very healthfull and you can make tea from pine needles. My mom had us pick berries and grapes and she would put them up. She still has a big garden and still cans her veggies. I wish I had the space to grow a garden. She also told me about her mother making "Butter" with lard and yellow food coloring. Oh yuck! And just a thought. Stock up on canning jars and extra lids. I have a feeling they will be outlawed. Not safe because of danger of botulism? We're still alive and that was when they still used the rubber rings, which are outlawed.
