Sounds about right for Yukon Golds, they're very prolific.

 

I wish I could grow Yukon golds

They don't like my soil, I plant 50 lbs, i get maybe 60 pounds.

White potatoes on the other hand....

 

I'm planting LaSodas this spring, hopefully tomorrow if the rain is gone. I've got free labor tomorrow so they may go int even if it's raining. :

 

for my 100 ft rows I am going to water with 2 50 ft soaker hoses hooked together.
wondering what your irrigation plan is for your 250 ft rows ?

 

We are not really worried about irrigation with the potatoes since they will be harvested before "real" east Texas summer hits, but we are thinking about trying drip tape for our other crops (peas, corn, etc). My brother has a friend who "gardens" for a living, and that is what he uses.
