Inspired by Maggie357's thread on encouraging us to by American, I am asking folks to post their favorite American-made products here. Share your story of a domestic good that you would recommend to others!

My 1983 Dodge Ram Pickup, it's like the energizer bunny, only gets around 16 mpg, but it rarely has anything go wrong with it and when it does it is cheap and easy to fix.

It did recently have the transmission go out but I guess thats ok with over 230,000 miles on it. 2 hours and $200 and she was back in action.

Put me down for American guns. I'm a gun collector and have guns from around the world. For the most part, American guns are among the best in the world. From Les Baer's hand built 1911s, to early Colt revolvers and pre-64 Winchesters, we know our guns! Most of my foreign guns are just oddities in my collection or historic pieces.

I'm tempted to say my Toyota Camry since technically it IS made in America, but I think that would be cheating! :D:

A couple of products off the top of my head are American guns and Filson products. I do have a few European firearms, but I seem to go back to American.

I have a lot of Filson products and they will last longer than my old bones. Filson is outsourcing some of their products now, but I can look in their catalog and find out where it was made.

There are some great American knife manufactures too!

Other than firearms, I can't think of anything that isn't made with some Chinese parts(gaskets, glues, metal, ect). Can we list mostly American made? lol

I guess American made food is about all i can think of :) I used to make "American made" parts for intel but then again we made them with Korean machines :p

my old, all American made car and truck. They run fantastic. Dependable, economical, sturdy. Built like tanks. Well, the car is economical, anyway, gas wise. American made wool socks from (gasp) Wal-mart. Amreican made military surplus desert boots from Desert Storm era. Fantastic, comfortable footwear!

And whoever said their favourite beer is American needs to try some proper English Ales and European beers... Budweiser is just about tolerable...

Most of your stuff is weak and watery and served half frozen

Oh, and Snapon tools are pretty good also.

You won't get any argument from me about our beer. Only recently have a few small microbreweries started to make decent beer here, but it's all regional and hard to find. English and Belgian beers are my favorite by far.
