If the instructions on the tablet bottle say to use 2 tablets per quart of water, does that mean you can use 1 tablet in a 1/2 quart bottle for the same results?

Although I remember seeing some tablets that were a two tablet system. One tablet purified and the other was just to help it taste better..... If yours is two seperate bottles it may be one for purification one for taste, but it should specify on the bottles, if it's just one bottle you should be good using one pill per 1/2 quart.

And yes to answer your question from what I have learned is one pill per half quart.
