HI folks,

To prepare myself I got a load of kerosene (which I'm now getting rid of as I am moving place) in Harrow, UK

I have loads of £1 hurricane lamps and 3 old fashioned kero stoves plus a primus omnifuel. Seems like a good strategy.

I nearly got myself a kerosene heater but eventually just purchased a lot of wool 2nd hand clothing.

Am I alone in my liking of kerosene? Is everyone using gas these days (which is what my neighbour has)?

It must be a British thing.
We've got a couple of jerry cans of kerosene & a few hurricane lamps.
If the shtf over here, a lot more hurricane lamps will appear, as most houses up here (Yorkshire) didn't have electric lighting fitted untill the late 50's, so there's still quite a few knocking about.

We have a parafin greenhouse heater, the usual popcan stoves will work on it also, tbh home lighting prep is solar powered garden lights and candles.
