These don't fit in with rest of the books being listed but the are great for info. My fatherinlaw gave me a whole bunch of these books from the 30's to the 60's. They teach you how to do practical stuff with what you have laying around. How to build everything from a shortwave to a tractor. How to do blacksmithing, carpentry, veterinary, farming, surviving a Nuke(duck and cover), mechanics. They have just about one of everything.

Great publication. The current issue (10-08) has '100 Skills Everyman(one) Should Know'. Everything for everyone in this magazine.

They were written back when people had a really ingenius, inventive mindset. Apart from that, it was tough times, when you made do with what you had. I love those old PM books and have posted several articles in Survival Files from PM of that era. The info just doesn't age.

If you have a scanner, maybe you could post some pdfs of your fav articles??

Cheers, Herne
