What are your plans for the 4th of July weekend?

I probably will not be cooking outside. With the temps close to the 100 degree mark, I will probably just cook something inside.

One thing I would really like to do is go fishing. Might do that saturday or sunday.

Big family party, like every year.

We might 80-90 people over through the day. Which means clean the pool, hide the horse and lose the keys to the tractor and smile alot:)

Sounds like a good time......why do you have to hide the horse, sounds like there could be an interesting story here :)
Well.....my wife's family has a few dozen people that believe they know how to ride :D: but don't.

I give all the little kids a ride (3-10 years old) but most adults are clueless around horses but it's hard to convince them.

Clueless adults horseback riding on a youtube video might put it in proper perspective for them :D:

one of the flags that flew over the twin towers on 9/11 are coming to the 4th of July ceremonies here and the Patriot Guard Riders have been ask to escort to and during the parade. So I guess I'll be sitting on my Harley most of the day.

Wow, we have opposite ideas, when it is hot out, I out my grill in the shade and grill, so I do not heat the house up.

We will be fishing lakes mainly here, unless the rivers come down drastically in the next week.

Us ladies make up side dishes of the usual sort. Horseshoes and backgammon for the adults, fireworks for the kids. Homemade ice cream and cookies for dessert.

We have a little neighborhood cookout, then launch the fireworks when it's dark enough...

now, living in Charlotte, the good stuff is not allowed, so i go to SC and buy it anyway...

So far, the donations are just over 500.00, and knowing the guys i do in SC, should score approx 1k worth of good schitt to go BOOM!!!

We set up a firing station, safety gear, hoses, etc....

We knock it out...people will stop driving and watch!!

I will post some pics afterwards, assuming i'm not in lockup.... :D:

should be good, have a couple LEO's who live the section and actually attend and contribute to the cause....

ok..my buddy and i just got back from SC, picking up the goods..this is what we're going to blow off sat night...these two boxes, 1400.00 worth...it was a 2 for 1 deal...plus they gave us a bunch of misc, loose goodies too....
