Interesting idea about kill switches in solar panels...but a far more deadly move would be something comparable in cell phones, routers and other parts of the backbone of the internet...or power distribution system.

Yeah, the Chinese have compromised all those, too.

A kill switch can activated in electronics as in anything that can receive updates via the net , Solar panels do not have access to the net [ or a simple brain ] just think of the electronics in Lebanon , just think of items that can receive a signal via the power supply , back in the 70's the geyser could be switched on / off by council via the power supply, that would be seen as medieval against todays inventions , so stop fretting, if it is going to happen, us little people cannot stop it , as said we should have all died many times in our life , but we are still here so what went wrong

Makes perfect sense that we are far too reliant on automation and too trusting of tech to be safe around nuclear weapons.
Couple that with the fact that China doesn't care if it loses a few hundred million Chinese, and doesn't care at all if a few billion laowai (other people) die, and we have a "situation" brewing.

Actually, no it wasn't, the letters and text where put together 300ish years after they were written and compiled into the Book we now know as the Bible. Those letters were put together by those that traveled with Jesus and their direct followers.

Actually, no it wasn't, the letters and text where put together 300ish years after they were written and compiled into the Book we now know as the Bible. Those letters were put together by those that traveled with Jesus and their direct followers.

The Bible was pretty much compiled by about 400AD. Old Testament was written way earlier, perhaps starting in the 1400's BC (about when Moses would have been on the scene) with some arguing even before that for the book of Job, which is suggested to have been written around 2000 BC. The Bible is more a "collection of writings", not one human writer, closer to 40 authors. The later books of the Bible were written in the first century AD with the last of them being estimated at around 95 - 96 AD or so.
