Check this out. It's a bracelet made of paracord you can rappell with in an emergency. Course a 20' rappell isn't that far but it's still pretty cool. If you actually have to use it, you can send it back to them along with your story and they will remake the bracelet for you. Some guy came up with a good idea. Hope he's making money with it. They make rifle slings also.

Kurt, the guy that owns survivalstraps.com is a pretty good guy. He hand makes the bracelets, lanyards, dog collars, rifle slings, etc and has about 30 colors to choose from.

I have two of the bracelets and a custom rifle sling from survivalstraps and have exchanged many e-mails with them while customising the rifle strap.

They really will re-braid your sling, bracelet (or whatever) if you use it, my rifle sling has been re-braided and it didn't cost me anyting but shipping to send it back to Kurt.

One of the things I like best about them is survivalstraps.com contributes part of the profits for each item they sell to the Wounded Warrior Project which is a non-profit org. that helps wounded veterans.
