The Spool Tool is the most efficient, versatile, and compact way to keep your paracord ready for immediate use. 5col Survival Supply has the Spool Tool on sale for $18.20/ea. We're proud to carry this product, which is manufactured in the United States by a veteran-owned company.

This seems very expensive - $18 for a piece of molded plastic with a razor blade in it?
I think there are several things driving the price on this item:

-It's made in the US. You're probably used to "molded plastic" from China. As long as this is made in the US, it's going to cost more.
-It's made by a small company producing smallish runs, so their costs are higher per unit. Hopefully they'll find ways to lower their costs as demand grows.

All the writeup's I see on this say it is good for 550 cord.
will this work with the 750 cord for sealing the ends and whatnot?
I tried it out with our 750 cord. You can fit 100' of 750 cord on here, with no room to spare. 750 works great in the cutter, but doesn't fit the holes along the side.

In the attached EDC photo, you can see 25' of Type IV 750 paracord on the Spool Tool.
