As a society and as individuals we are constantly being swayed toward one argument or another. It is a constant. People do not know what their history is, they don’t understand what it requires to make a law we must all be expected to live by. Civics is no longer taught to school kids and the process that is carefully followed by our lawmakers is usurped or distorted to the average citizen. The TV is a propaganda tool unsurpassed in a modern age. It is used to swing attitudes for or against an argument. School kids are no longer taught the three “R’s” they are indoctrinated into believing whatever the school system wants them to believe or it is delivered by an over-zealous teacher.

As a result, our children are growing up to believe certain rights can be modified in such a way as to change their meaning or their impact on us as a people. They vote for, condone, and voice an approving voice for political philosophies that are contrary to a free Republic’s wellbeing. We are not a communist/Marxist society and we never will be. We will never give up our weapons contrary to what a large group thinks we should do. We are an armed society because our forefathers who set up the Republic and its ideas had one major fear, the government.

That shouldn’t be any less of a fear today than it was nearly 250 years ago. More important, we are still a Judeo/Christian country and no usurping religion is going to change that concept.

Those who are advocating a swing toward socialism/communism don’t seem to understand everywhere it has been promulgated as a government, it has failed. Every country that accepted those evil concepts has gone into a dictatorship with devastating results and actions. We only need to look toward Cuba. An island paradise once the playground of the rich and the average citizen who wanted to go somewhere nearby for fun. Being only 90 miles away it was accessible by pleasure boat in a day’s cruise. By airplane less than an hour away. For over fifty years the island nation suffered unspeakable suffering and tragedies. For the first several years the firing squad’s crescendo of rifle fire echoed into the night air 24/7’s. North Korea is another example, and so is China which everyone seems to think supporting that country is a good idea by buying their trade goods.

Time and again the ugly and evil face of sheer terror against the people of those nations has had the government turn against them. There are no nations that have accepted the socialist/communist doctrines who have come away in a better existence for the country and its citizens. Wars have been fought abroad and in those nations themselves. Once their governments began to crack down on their own people in every instance, the first thing those countries do is take the ability for the average citizen to protect themselves with firearms.

I’ll make a prediction here. There is an evil mindset infecting our country currently. 99% of the ideas being set into place for you and me to follow like the sheep they think we are is back up by a communist/Marxist or Cloward/Piven set of goals set down to destroy freedom in the US by any means necessary. Those advocating these political theories and those accepting of them are your enemies’. Their goal is to tear down the bastions that hold freedoms in check for every American in the US. The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a socialist system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty".

The two stated that many Americans who were eligible for welfare were not receiving benefits and that a welfare enrollment drive would strain local budgets, precipitating a crisis at the state and local levels that would be a wake-up call for the federal government, particularly the Democratic Party. There would also be side consequences of this strategy, according to Cloward and Piven. These would include: easing the plight of the poor in the short-term (through their participation in the welfare system); shoring up support for the national Democratic Party-then splintered by pluralistic interests (through its cultivation of poor and minority constituencies by implementing a national "solution" to poverty), and relieving local governments of the financially and politically onerous burdens of public welfare (through a national "solution" to poverty). The ultimate objective of this strategy—to wipe out poverty by establishing a guaranteed annual income—will be questioned by some. Because the ideal of individual social and economic mobility has deep roots, even activists seem reluctant to call for national programs to eliminate poverty by the outright redistribution of income.

Isn’t it comforting for you to understand there are those who would have you work your butt off so your income can be GIVEN away to the worthless oxygen breathers whose only contribution to this great nation is to have another baby every single year? Additionally, to take away your right to defend yourself against anyone who would cause you harm, enslave you for their benefit, indoctrinate your own children against you such as the Hitler Youth who turned in their own parents in their Nazi zeal to support a criminal regime who put to death six millions of its own citizens because of their religion? Or, the latest strategy of those on the left who are giving your country away on a silver platter to deadbeat, disease infected invaders, and they are forcing you to pay them handsomely to top it all off? Wow! God Bless America and its beneficial ways and they are doing it on your behalf whether you want it done or not.

I saw a quote on the news yesterday, basically Bernie was saying "We had ENOUGH school shootings to get people to want to ban guns". Which has been the driving force behind allowing so many school shootings, I believe. Now that there is a voice for banning guns, suddenly the shootings stop.

Also I will refer you to the couple of times a Texan stopped a bad guy, by using his legal weapon, and how little coverage that got.

I grew up in VA and was moved to CA when I was 10. I just basically sat on my ass in school after that, waiting for the other kids to catch up. In some regards (history, in particular) they never did.

I was talking with my husband the other day and said if we had kids I would have to homeschool, or put them in a quality Christian school. No way would I allow them to enter the public school system ESPECIALLY as ours buses in kids from one of the worst ghettoes in Houston.

There shouldn't be any school shootings. The Democrats fixed that one long ago when they banned firearms from schools.

They are very proud of that and expect all their other firearms bans to be just as effective. :D:

Male Teacher Demands to Use Little Girls’ Restroom

A guy named Mark Busenbark teaches science at Frank Allis Elementary School in Madison, Wisconsin.

...“I am not a boy. I am not just a girl. I am both!” However, more recently he has proclaimed himself to be female.

Busenbark is allowed to use the ladies’ room. Not good enough. He wants to do his business in front of young schoolgirls. Staff and students are supposed to use separate restrooms. Busenbark declares that this policy is “transphobic.”
The union Madison Teachers Inc has declared its support for Busenbark’s sick demand.

There will come a time to burn it all down. Figuratively speaking.

They are indoctrinated into believing the government is their god.

Yes.... Lower the requirements for everything. Give everyone a trophy; You feel bad because you don't qualify for advance classes? We will take them away. You can't tie your shoes? Here's Velcro....

One day the Government Cow will stop producing for many and then what? Then you will need a government job. The place is loaded with people like you. Many are almost too stupid to breath. You people expect the Government to provide every thing will be S.O.L.

The biggest threat to the government is an intelligent, well-educated citizen. Of course the government is going to do everything it can to dumb down the population.
As is the media.

As a teacher, I fight it as hard as I can, my school is small, rural and conservative, but holy crap, they are getting indoctrinated by the insanity nearly every waking moment via the phones.

Insidious, isn't it.

You have my admiration and respect. I once thought I wanted to teach. I doubt I could have survived it. Thank all the powers that be that you can practice your profession in a small, rural and conservative school.

I taught at one time both in a public school as a History teacher and as an assistant professor at a college. Both jobs were extremely time-consuming, stressful and in my opinion, unrewarding. I never felt satisfied at the end of a day or at the end of a semester either. I also taught Ground School and Flight Instructing later in a private facility. I liked that aspect of teaching but it was low paying at the time and a lot of time wasted doing very little. Teaching is a tough job and I admire anyone who can hack it fulltime and for long term. I wasn't able to do that. My interests lay elsewhere.

I've watched and studied the degradation of our school systems over the last many decades and I watched the finest educational system in the world biodegrade to a level that frankly embarrasses me. It no longer teaches achievements, it teaches a political and Marxist agenda that is accomplishing little except to turn out drones. When we had shop, home economics, and some other trades along with the curriculum of math and sciences which prepare a kid to achieve at a higher level of learning. I know it sounds like a sour note but when I was going to public school and later to University, we had to maintain grades or we were done for. That no longer is the case. That is a crime.

If you study cult indoctrination you see that a big part of it is suppressing the subject's ability to think critically. This is necessary to herd people like cattle. And there is no question that it has been done by the indoctrination centers called public schools.

I remember reading a book years ago (I wish I could remember the name) about what at the time was commonly called brainwashing. In North Korean POW camps the guards had managed to use certain techniques that caused POWs to become collaborators. The author was a Jesuit missionary who was held in a North Korean POW camp. Two things stand out in my memory from the book: 1, He said it was holding onto his strong faith in God that kept their methods from working on him, and 2, the subjects of the brainwashing were constantly being deluged with all sorts of little rules, or what the author called minutia, and if they broke one of those little meaningless rules they got in big trouble; in this way their minds were so focused on following those rules that they lost sight of the bigger picture, and that made them easy to manipulate.

Between misinterpretation of the First Amendment and political correctness, these two things are characteristic of our schools. There is a constant threat of expulsion or other forms of excommunication if a student gets caught expressing thought that has been forbidden by the high seers of liberalism. So their minds are focused on what amounts to a big tangled mass of speech and behavior minutia, and they do not see the big lies they are being fed. Nor do they question those lies, out of fear that they might expose themselves as thought criminals.

Another thing that lays a good foundation for indoctrination is the dogma of moral relativism: there is no real truth; my truth is as valid as yours; it's all a matter of perspective. But somehow liberal dogma is treated as absolute, unquestionable truth anyway.

Add sanitized history books and a few other things to the mix and it's a surprise today's high school graduates aren't storming the White House under the banner of the Hammer and Sickle.

And my generation (the so-called baby boomers) is responsible. We knew our kids were being indoctrinated in the government schools, that we were paying for with our tax money, and some of us talked about it, but we never did anything about it. So we can say that the kids deserve to be slaves since they are stupid enough to be forging their own chains, but we must admit that we paid for the material the chains are made of and gave them the hammer and anvil to forge those chains.

In some cases, other communist governments KILLED the intelligent free-thinking ones! Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, N. Korea, Russia and more. Even Nazi (National SOCIALIST!) Germany KILLED those who were not "right thinking". And it has been talked about OPENLY by some of the Demokratik Socialist Campaigns here! Now!

And the establishment of "re-education" and "rehabilitation" camps for those who don't follow The Party Agenda.

The "public (State) schools system" is merely a youth indoctrination camp system run my the Demokratik Socialist Party now! For example if a student even talks about conservatism, patriotism, etc. they are expelled and punished. If this happens in high school or "universities" they are expelled and blacklisted and labeled as mental defectives (EXACTLY like in other COMMUNIST/SOCIALIST countries!) and this, in turn, causes HUGE problems later on when attempting to get a meaningful job.

It is ALL here NOW! And has BEEN here for YEARS! It's just that WE THE SHEEPLE have been content to graze and quietly ignore it all. So now we pay what is due!

Public schools need to close for good as useless redundancy at extreme taxpayer expense.

It's just childcare now.

30 years of the internet and people can't seem to figure this out.

A good example of the schools.

I deal with cash the majority of the time. I only write checks for my remodel crew and we never use the debit card.

So I shop with cash. It is very common for me to pay at a register on $34.60 and I give them a twenty and three fives, they have to count it three or four times before they realize I gave them $35.

We had a delivery man once, we paid $100 of our bill in $5's and he took a good five minutes to figure out it was $100. It is scary and sad.
