Okay,
This was a first for me....

I was at the local gunshop today and saw a really nice Rem 870 Express. Thing is it was sporting rifle sights and the brightest plastic blaze orange stock and foreend I have ever seen...

Yeah....the see from space kinda bright Orange...:D:

I actually kinda liked it and was thinking of buying it for a jeep gun...:thumb:

I didn't because, I thought 350 was a bit steep for an 870 Express...

Any idea as to why blaze orange stocks?

lol probably hoping some one with a waek control on their wallet will walk by and go "hey look at the color, i gotta have that."

Same reason as a blaze orange vest.
Pretty sure this is why. Not exactly sure of the rules, but in Minnesota I believe you must have a piece of blaze orange while out and about. They make blaze orange camo. Apparently deer are colorblind.

Brownells sell a couple differnt sets, one that a plain blaze orange for hunting, and the other marked less leathal for security/ Law Enforcement.
