While I was having a rummage around I came accross this little guy.
It is an issue knife from the British army in the 1950's.
I have given it to my son so he can get a bit of knife experience.
The other tool on the knife is a tin opener, simple and very robust.

Good old knives these are Hog,i have my grandads and it means a lot to me.:thumb:

Its great to be able to pass them on to the next generation,my Grandson will get mine.

Here's the old knife that was passed down from my granddad to my dad to me:



I really like old knives like yours and Stick's and this one that stood the test of time and use. My dad used this knife for many years as his deer skinner.

That is a really nice knife AJ and has history.:thumb:

That's a good tool there, is there any history to it?

It was a knife that my Dad had when he was in the army, there were originaly two of them but some where along the way one has been lost.
I think this knife is still issued, there is one on the Ray Mears web site that he sells and it is advertised as such.
