My family and I moved to Bridge City in 1978. I graduated Bridge City High School class of 1986. This video is dedicated to all of the people that live in Bridge City. And its dedicated to those that lost everything in the flood of 2008.

Like I said to you in an earlier post, I truly think now that we were spared in Hurricane Carla back in 1961. WE lost everything we had in the world but at least we didn't have to look at it all in ruins. COming back to a concrete slab is sometimes easier to take. It is gone and you can't look back at the destroyed products of your life. I really feel for these folks. I am trying to find pics of what Carla left behind. It has been so long. Your folks are in our prayers.

Bridge City scares me, flat out god honest.

We had the same amount of water, with more rain? We had about 14 inches of rain and got two feet of water, if we had the wind and etc. we would have been devastated. I just thank god that everyone from this site that I know, plus my personal friends and family are ok. Some better off down there than others, but ok none the less.
