I've got the flu. Just started last night. I don't think it's H1N1. It just seems like a normal flu.
For most people, H1N1 is like seasonal flu. Sometimes it's even milder.

For some people, however, it can take a turn for the worse and get bad quick. Just watch for the biggest warning symptom - breathing troubles. This is definitely NOT like normal flu.

If you tested positive to a rapid flu test with type A flu, it's most likely H1N1. Approximately 99% of all flu in the nothern hemisphere is H1N1.

And definitely seek help if you get better and then relapse very soon after (within a day). The first bout will be the flu and then that second bout is usually a severe form of pneumonia.

During this time of the year, winter, it is impossible to differentiate between the ordinary flu and H1N1.
The only way to tell if you have H1N1 is to be tested and have the assay sent to a CDC certified lab.
There is another assay used but is only 10-70% reliable. Go figure.

As mentioned in many posts. Secondary infections are the most worrisome i.e. pneumonia.
