Every week the Center of Disease control releases a flu update - http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/
This is the amount of confirmed flu cases nation wide. The Newsfeed bot will check the CDC website twice a day (every 12 hours) for the weekly flu updates. When an update to the CDC website is found, the news bot will post the name of the update and a link to the source.
This way the members of this site can keep an eye on the amount of Flu activity.
