I'm from Grand Rapids, MI. I'm involved in our local ARES / RACES / Search and Rescue teams and specialize in emergency communications. I also work with the local CERT team and train people in disaster preparedness. I'm looking for anyone local to the area who has the same mind set as me.

Hi Earp,

I'm in GR, too. I just posted my "Hello" in the newbie forum. I'm signed up for the CERT classes that start in Aug. at the Grand Rapids Fire Department Training Center. Any advice and will you be there?
