Sledghammer used in Mexico killings

“SAN FERNANDO, Mexico -- At the largest mass grave site ever found in Mexico, where 177 bodies have been pulled from deep pits, authorities have recovered few bullet casings and little evidence that the dead were killed with a gun.
Instead, most died of blunt force trauma to the head, and a sledgehammer found at the crime scene is believed to have been used in the executions, according to Mexican investigators and state officials.
As many as 122 of the victims were passengers dragged off buses at drug cartel roadblocks on the major highway to the United States.”

What is America going to look like when this starts to happen here?

The U.S. State Department issued new warnings Friday advising Americans to defer non-essential travel to the entire border state of Tamaulipas and large swaths of Mexico due to the threat of armed robbery, carjacking, kidnapping and murder by organized crime.
Duh! You think. Its only a matter of time before total H*** breaks out in Mexico. I'm so glad I don't live in a border state.

I don't think the average Mexican has guns. I would think that most household in the US have guns for home defense, hunting, or whatever. Also, whether you want to believe it or not, the US Law Enforcement is not corrupt drug dealers and Zeta Members like Mexico.

I have to wonder why the citizens of Mexico are not forming neighborhood protection groups and defending themselves.

They are acting more like the Jews in the Holocaust and just waiting to be killed.

That's what has allowed it to progress so far over there. If the citizens had been armed, they would have been able to keep it under control. If that started up over here, they'd be shot on sight every time they acted up.

That's actually a fairly interesting article. Just think about it for a few minutes. Where could you find enough people who would beat about 170 people to death with a hammer?

It kind of puts the "global society- we are all in this together" mindset into a different light. Around these parts, we don't do that. The fact there are third world countries where people do it leads me to believe we really aren't a global society and the drive to make us one is faulty.
