Hello! My husband and I are knowledgeable about many prepping subjects. We did search and rescue/medical rescue for many years for the county then SAR for Civil Air Patrol where Tony (Hubby) was Cadet Commander. I taught navigation and survival for the Girl Scouts. We are member of San Tan Preppers in AZ.

Tony is in law enforcement and is a long-time Paramedic. I, Nancy, have been a nurse almost 30 years specializing in ER and OB. We would be glad to take medical questions if you have them. I also like to look over blogs, books or articles for medical accuracy for people.

We have written a novel, "Post Grid", about an EMP that takes out the grid. In the book, Kelly, a nurse, has survived the destruction of the power grid and must now struggle to make it to her mother’s, rural, Arizona ranch. Jared, a sheriff’s deputy, has been shot in the melee and likely won’t survive without her help. They find themselves among an unlikely group of individuals, with knowledge and skills that will improve everyone’s chance of survival. We include solar cooking and hot water in the book along with tabletop surgery and fighting infection with sugar.

So nice to meet all of you. Nancy and Tony
