I am Torin and my wife is Lehka. We are newish to all this. I was in the military many years ago and took some survival training there <very basic stuff> and my wife grew up in post collapse Russia and learned a lot of basic survival stuff in her mothers milk so to speak. Back around the Y2K scare I did a little reading and preparing but when it came to naught I left it all behind. What I am seeing now and things I have read makes me wonder and as my earlier training dictates "Be always ready" we are starting to pull our stuff together for both a short term emergency and a long term survival event.
