Learning from people who have similar concerns.

There's no one around me to talk with about prepping, because A) nobody else I know has much knowledge about it, and B) it would violate OPSEC.

But here, you can find people to talk with and some of them know a lot!

And, BTW, welcome!

Welcome Frank! I love this place and learn something everyday.

The "Sticky Notes" are a great place to start reading. If you can't find something, try doing a search on yahoo with the word survivalistboards, you'll find almost everything under the sun has been discussed here. Example: survivalistboards water filteration.

Again, welcome!

Hi Frank. Welcome. My grandmother was born in Yorkshire in 1901. She came to the US when she was 5. My favorite thing about this board is meeting like minded, friendly people and a lot are very knowlegable.

Welcome Much to learn here. Things to ponder follow:

Have a BOL?

Self-sufficient? Garden? Stored food?

Reload? Cast bullets? Practice with your firearms?

Practice permaculture? Gather wild foods?
