It ain't happy, when yer favorite revolvers ain't got a happy residence.

I've tried the Triple K holsters sold by Ruger's Shoppe, an' they ain't propperly oriented... Uncomfortable, 'course wearin' eight pounds o' metal attached ta yer hips, is a might much...

I need some direction, ta get "good" recommendation's fer holsters ya can wear all day, every day, without becomin' stove-up. Today, after goin' ta church yesterday, I feel like hippos, a whole heard of 'em, used my back fer a trampoline- an' enjoyed it...

No cross draws, shoulder holsters, please. Need somthin' to hang down, but not too far. Definitely not high rise... Good fer John Wayne, but it ain't fer me. I wear three sizes too big, so's can carry comfortably, an' not pattern... Least-wise, that was my theory.

I'm a short, "rotund" (fer now) little wart, so's I look like a beer barrel wi' legs. On th' Atkin's Diet, now. Want ta get down to 138, now 208.6. Have lost 11 pounds in last week. No carbs, no sugars. Nurses here at th' Home are ****ed with me... Hell, it's my body... Was 138 after gettin' back from Vietnam... Was leaner, an' meaner... Old age really sucks... Now, I'm just meaner...

So's, if yuh know of a good holster maker, fer Ruger Redhawks in 5.5" barrels, please drop me a line...

I own a couple nice 44 mag Rugers, a 7.5" Bisley Blackhawk, and a 5.5" Redhawk.
I had Trailrider products build me two nice custom holsters, but I no longer find Trailrider online.

The one best suited to your gun is the Mexican style Loop Holster.
Mine was originally built for a 6.25" revolver, and I reshaped it for my Redhawk.

Looks like I'll be settin' aside part o' my pension, fer a few months... Th' 1930 Austin, fer 5 1/2" barreled Redhawks, both L & R, should meet my needs just fine... Have used straps, snaps, and thongs fer years, but think I like th' looks on the 1930 Austin, with strap...

i just use uncle mike's. both shoulder for hunting and belt for working in the pasture. I'm not into fancy, just useful.
