It was already said but the S.A.S. survival manual is a really good field guide.

Go to Paladin Press. Get "Survival Guns" by Mel Tappan. Read and reread it till you can quote large sections from memory.

Get Ragnar Benson's "Survial Poaching"; the urban survival book--and a few of his other books.

Read Bruce Clayton's "Surviving Domsday".

Got that book recently. He was interviewed on Coast to Coast recently as well. It's a good book that covers a lot of topics in a small amount of space. (and it is by no means a small book) :thumb:

If you can only get one book, this one or "Dare to Prepare" by Stan and Holly Deyo make my short list of must-have prep books. There will be some repeats if you get both but surprisingly not that many. Both cover things from different perspectives and both are worth exploring and thinking about in depth.
