The only "sleeping bag" I know of that sounds like that is the Ranger Roll.
It's a USGI Poncho with a Poncho liner attached and then folded over and snapped so that it makes a light duty sleeping bag.
You could make an old fashioned "bed roll" with blankets and a tarp.
My most compact cook kit is a USGI canteen with cover, canteen cup and stove. For cooking fish and cornpone the USGI mess kit works fine and is compact.
Both the canteen cup and mess kit have been made in aluminum or stainless steel.
