I think this idea was debunked by Snopes. Someone on there said they put a sheet of "Bounce" in every belt loop when they went outside and they swore it only attracted the mosquitos.

It's been a weird year. Here we had almost NO problem with them all year, now as of about 3 weeks ago they're SWARMING!

This is what i use. I swear buy it and it has yet to let me down. I get mine at target for like $4-$5. it is a little pricy but it dosent take much. And it dosent leave you feeling all dirty in the heat like others do, it makes your skin cool and tingly, because of the eucalyptus.
