Two years ago i bought a nice fixed blade and swore it was the last knife i'd ever buy. But yesterday i fell off the wagon, bought 2 more knives off ebay.
A survival knife, a 3 blader with drop point, saw blade and guthook, and then last night bought another off that Smoky Mt. knife show on tv.
And God, how many times have i watched the movies Rambo I, IV and The Hunted?

Anyone else have this problem?

No I dont have that problem but it is a funny post though. lol

I own:

4 large Fix Blades (Ka-Bar D2 Extreme Combat Knife, Ka-bar Serated Combat/Utility Knife, Gerber ASEK Army Knife, Ontario M9 Bayonet.

2 Automatic Knives (High End Italian Swichblades)

3 Pocket / Folder Type knifes (Gerber)

So a few Knives so I dont think its alot compared to alot of people. But maybe its a good start to a problem lol !

Yeah that Gerber is amazing I actually bought the Gerber Infantry ASEK Black Model. I hightly recomend it I paid $120 bucks at cabellas for it. But Ive seen it on ebay alot. They make that same knife in about 5 differnt styles so make sure you get the right one you want!

Cold Steel Machetes- spear point, bolo, heavy, kukri

I just got Bolo and it came very dull and uneven grind. I regrinded and sharpened it and now it cuts well. I had small test with it along my other stuff and it feels quite good, I´m just not used of that big blade. My other CS machete is 12" barong machete and that´s wonderful blade! Thicker than bolo and also much better rubberlike handle. How about your spearpoint machete, what do you like about it?

Hmmm, seems someone likes Gerbers.
Well, i fell off the wagon again, ordered that survival shovel off ebay, the one your can sharpen the blade on 3 sides and use as a knife, hatchet, as well as a digger.

No go with the higher end Ittalian made ones those tawian chinese japanese ones are junk and dont last very long.

$20 bucks for those or $90 for a good one. go with the good one.
