I posted these in another thread but wanted to give them their own thread. This was the first time I attempted a 10/22 custom and although it did not go nearly as easily as everyone kept telling me it would, it was not to bad over all and I am pleased with the end result so far. Still have not taken her to the range yet as I am waiting for the scope to come in.

I started with a regular 10-22 22" long rifle which I purchased from Academy for $185.00.

I fell in love with this stock and that is where all of this sort of came from. So here it is, laying with the rifle, a small preview of what was to come.

And finally after alittle elbow work, I have the almost finished rifle!

Stock: Predator T-Rex
Barrel: Tactical Soultions; Matte Green; Aluminum, FLuted - Bull Barrel
Scope: Will be a Nikon 4x32 Rimfire Classic
Still to come: Eventeually I will add on a new trigger assembly, and possibly a nice little bi-pod, if I find one I am happy with that is easily attached and removed.

Anyways, I know it is not the greatest in the world,, but it was my first time and so far I have had alot of frun with it, and I am really pleased with how it is looking. Can not wait to take it to the range and see how it performs. I plan on introducing it to our local squirrel population this season as well!

Very nice looking. Love the 10/22 and there are so many ways to customize them it gets hard to decide. Looks like you've made some good choices so far.

Thanks scosmo,

I took it to the range this morning for the first time. It was a blast to shoot. Everyone around asked me about it, it certainly got some attention. Which isnt anything I really care about, but nice when other people like what you did as well.

My extended magazine release, and a bolt buffer and an auto bolt locking thingy I ordered came in yesterday and I plan on adding them maybe today. I still plan on extending the bolt handle and getting the trigger done down to about 2 to 2.5 lbs.

But so far I am pretty pleased with it.
