Sounds like Multiples of Saddness!

Sam43 is right, some specifics might possibly help for some more effective solutions to the problem. But as he suggested soaking in WD40 or Break free and scrubbing where you can might help in freeing up some of the parts so you can clean it up and get it back into action.

Also maybe post a link of the gun you got or at least a pic so we can see what exactly you have to work with.
