Mountain House Beef Stew is probably one of the better rounded meals from Mountain House.

The beef, peas and carrots were all consistent with each other. The gravy had plenty of flavor. There was nothing bland or overbearing about the beef stew.

Overall, this is going to be added to my preps.

I totally agree with you about the beef stew. It was one of the first pouched ones I ever tried, and I found the pouch and #10 can both pretty consistent with one another.

It is a very well rounded meal, as you put it. I find it is not one of their best but not one of their worst either. I often suggest it as the average quality (in my experience anyway) of the MH products. I often advise people if they try the Beef Stew and don't like it then they won't like anything in the line.
