Should I get a Maverick 88 security or should I save up for a 500 special purpose, or the 590?

I have a Maverick 88 , primarily for home defense purposes. I have friends that own Mossberg 500s and they can barely tell the difference, except for the safety. On the 500 the safety is on top and easier to access, where on the Maverick 88 the safety is on the trigger guard. :thumb:
