I was in Academy 2 days ago & Monarch 7.62x39 was $4.86 per box of 20, same as it was before the $2.99 sale.

i completely bought out all the 12 gauge slugs they had at academy. which means they had exactly 4 boxes. They just got that shipment in a few days ago and they went through most of a pallet's worth of shells of all kinds. No telling when they're getting more.

Our Academy is out of .38 and damn near out of 9MM.

Saw some 7.62 x 39 last night going for $250 a 1000 rounds. It was the Russian stuff. Most places are going up everyday due to demand. Academy put in a 10 box limit on their 9MM on sale. 500 rounds is okay any day. You really have to shop these days.

Is anymore following the rumor mills these days. they have gotten so out of hand I don't even read them anymore.

Example of crazyness out there. I sold an old SKS last night for enough to buy a new Glock 19. That is crazy. this thing came right out of the Balkan Wars.

Monarch makes a green box and a blue box. The green box is almost $9 a box. The blue box is 4.86

Green box is privi partisan brass cased. Saw Privi stamped on the bulk box it came in. Most of the Monarch brand seems to be Privi.

iam going to tell you out here in the west , (arizona) ammo is at a premium, wolf AK 20 rounds, steel 6.50..and winchester brass is about 13.50 for 20... almost no AK'S ..AR 15's or anything 308.. is to be had for rifles.. people are on a big buying spree..buying everything up...rifles ,even magazines are going fast. .....(the time of purification is at hand)....and people are scare.

Blue Monarch 7.62 running for 4.86/20 round box at academy as of 2 days ago. Wish I'd seen the 2.99 sale. They had no oobuck in 12 gauge, no 32 cal, and 40 cal s & w isn't going down in price - at least they had some.
