So you're saying that our own government is sanctioning these Illegal intrusions into our airspace and across our borders and that they would fire on their own people who they supplied and positioned on the border to stop these incursions?
I'm say that if they would allow two border patrol to go to prison for shooting some scumbag in the butt then what makes you think you would be any better off? The government does not want the border secure!

If I remember right (and as it states in the article) the Mexicans were unarmed and running away trying to get back across the border at the time they were fired on and no weapons were ever found. The two border patrol guys tried to cover up the incident. The border patrol agents hung themselves by not being able to prove there was a threat.
I would think it would be possible to shoot down a Mexican military hellicopter (yes armed and dangerous) over our own soil, crashing on U.S. soil at which point there's no question that it was in our airspace and armed. Radar and video could prove it was on our side of the border. Case closed.

Effective range of beyond 1.25 miles. Already battle tested in a desert. It's set up to be mobile in the video above so you could move it around whenever you want to reposition it. Just to be certain that all firearm safety rules were observed, the Texas national guard could be tasked to operate them.

this would be great IF the fed would allow the border to be defended, and the federal government does not want the border protected. Az national gaurd aint going to be allowed to gaurd the border.
The whole problem with having our NG's on the border is that the Federal Government stepped in last time saying they could not have ammo. Carry all the guns you want, just can't have ammo.
Now if the Governor declared a state of emergency for the border area, that would get guns and ammo on the ground.
