The legal term for Martial law is 'state of emergency'. Our governor has declared a state of emergency for the past 9 months. That means she can call out the national guard and the state militia.

 

And what exactly does that mean? Is she going to send the National Guard to every town and make people stay inside? Make them do anything? Think they'll actually be issued ammo..? I'm genuinely curious.

Respectfully, there aren't anywhere near enough troops to do a "martial law" event in the entire US. Can't happen. Even trying to do it in any large major city is near to impossible. Sure, they could control major intersections, shut down the press and the interwebnet thingie - but actual, complete "martial law" is a non-starter. It is an idea floated by leftest extremists when a conservative is in power and by rightest extremists when a liberal is in power....but it just can't happen. Even if you put every swinging richard that wears a uniform of any kind (and assuming they would all agree) there just aren't enough of them....

Interesting story, but I doubt that it is true, for several reasons...mostly that the Italian Federal police arrested him at his house in Vatican City. The Italian Federal Police have NO (zero, nad, zilch, none) jurisdiction inside of Vatican City. The Pope is a head of state. Unless the Vatican police force arrests the Pope and turn him over to outside authorities, it won't happen.

People actually living in Rome haven't heard about it....

Rome is still on lockdown from COVID stuff, so that might account for some roads being blocked, but the Vatican itself isn't...

To what end would a Trump ML accomplish? It would result in his immediate impeachment and probably prosecution in criminal courts by the majority of Congress. Or worse.

Honestly, I admire Trump but am puzzled he still even cares enough to stick this out. The billionaire gave up his life and legacy to help this nation and much of it betrayed him. He's a smart man, and I have expect he's negotiating his and his families "safe passage" in exchange for his peaceful concession. Otherwise he's going to be exiled by the evil vicious left and the RINOs that were lifted up by him but ultimately betrayed him for their 20 pieces of silver.

Martial Law is my response. Redo the whole Election with Paper Ballots,No Mail-ins and No machines and have the Military check ID`s AND Count the Votes. No ID=NO Vote.
