O.K. I bought some cheap Mags. and it seems that they work fine until they get down to the last three or four rounds and then they don't load the round right, they jam and damage the brass.... Any idea's or fixes for this problem?
Besides Don't Buy Cheap Stuff....

contact DMPS if it is their mags, they have always been good to work with. Here is the link to customer support:

If not you may need a spring kit upgrade.

get the factory mags, or better yet, get pmags for like 15 bucks each. Pmags are the best that i have found. Works in every weapon...

Sounds like weak springs. Those are cheap and easy to replace. Might not be worth it in the long run though. A lot of cheap mags are also made of inferior metal and the feed lips will fatigue in time and bend.

I always thought AR mags were made cheep because they were for one time use, I them laying on the ground after the PD uses the range.

I do some are in bad shape from the weather.

Sounds like weak springs or else they are getting pinched in the housing somehow - like maybe the sides of the mag are bent a little or something.
