So me and my woman just got back in from sturgis. It was fun, but this year it was special! I saw the signs for the machinegun shoot up at Buffalo Chip and so we headed up there. My woman shot the full auto MP5 in 9mm. She loved it and it had very little kick and the muzzle rise wasnt bad at all. I shot the UMP45. dam thing had a ridiculous muzzle rise, or maybe i just need more time with the gun. I also shot an M16, i must say it actually handled very well.

We had fun, it was pricey but i dont care. it was worth it. We got to see the MG42, M60, Barret Model 82, tommy gun, sten gun, and the big ole MA DEUCE getting shot. it was a blast....literallly. Also got to see the bowlingball cannon go off couple times.

That sounds like fun. I havnt been to sturgis in years, but used to go every year when I worked for a bike shop.

There are some survival tactics to be discovered there!

Did the same thing this year at the Las Vegas gun range. Lots of fun.

Sturgis is just a shopping trip and bike show these days. Toss in a few concerts too. It has become very tame.
