haha.. As if those 10 dudes invented just storming into a place and shooting the joint up.. We've had highschool kids do that.. And it was ALWAYS an option.. but now the media is going to work people up again and get everyone on edge again and soon we'll see record numbers of people detained by police for holding on to their briefcase a little funny, or wearing the same type of cargo pants that one of the Mumbai attackers wore..
Maybe the REAL response should be all states lifting the "assault" weapons bans and actually PROMOTE the fact that people have the right to carry guns for self defense so the terrorists and criminals won;t continue to have an upper hand when they DO storm into a place and shoot people...

There's no denying the timing of the attack to coincide with the US celebration of Thanksgiving. It was far more interesting to watch than the ball game.
I expect the coming attack on the US to be based largely on lessons learned in Mumbai. The muzzies will deploy from a ship offshore, and travel up a river into a city with very harsh gun laws. They will select a city where even the security staffs of large hotels are armed, at best, with pepper spray.
Once the shooting starts, the terrorists will prepare an ambush for arriving SWAT teams, which will be quickly dispatched with hand grenades and RPGs. The terr's will then grab the weapons and radios from the dead police, and use the radios to monitor the command and control centers.
The fight will go on for days, with lots of shooting and many structure fires.
As in Mumbai, the attackers will know they are on suicide missions; so don't expect many to be taken alive.

why is anyone scared of this type of attack?
you could play americas army on x-box for a
week and outmanuver these amateur's.

This type of potential risk is the reason that I support the concealed carry by anyone that meats the requirments and has had at least the most basic training. You know it is amazing how simple it is for someone to gun down a group of people when they know the area and the ones being shot are not armed. When that "unarmed person" suddenly becomes armed the situtation usually has a different outcome.
Hotels are a particularly good target...open fire on a crowded street, station, or stadium, and it becomes uncrowded pretty fast as people flee and stampede in all directions. With a hotel (or similar high-rise structure like an office block or appartment complex), you just have to secure the ground floor and work your way up floor by floor, room by room, and you've got a captive, target-rich environment.
