I have a S&W M&P 9mm compact (first gen) on which I recently put an Olight PL-2 Valkyrie. I'd like to get a light-bearing OWB holster for it, preferably not a bulky one. It'd be for CC at night, so I want it as concealable as an OWB can be. I'd look at IWB as well if there's a comfortable one out there. I have a smaller frame so comfort with IWB is especially an issue. I have developed back pain in the past from improper IWB carry.

I've looked into this a bit, but the options were kind of overwhelming so I'm hoping to hear from voices of experience.

Anyway, holster recommendations? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Take a look at the SHERPA from Blawkhawk. A lot of different platform options for the holster.

Homemade kydex, I actually have the very pistol and light setup couldn't find a holster either so I carried it to a gun show where there is always someone making kydex holsters and they made it in front of me while I watched $ 35
