This is very interesting, and amazing - this people doing it under pressure of full blown war.

From practical point of view though it is just cute - they need much more that couple DIY weapons. I mean couple month of NATO bombing din't seem to help them much. So unless they will come up with some sort of backyard wunderwaffe, I can see see them left there to die when NATO gets tired and goes home.

By the way, did anybody notice that Kaddafi suddenly got missiles to attack Misrata exactly 2 days after a huge fire at military depot in Russia?

Being in the mechanical/engineering field myself I often find myself thinking of new ideas for force multipliers and such from common goods.......no problem in keeping the mind working for entertainment purposes :thumb:

It does not matter so much, that you would not believe it. NATO is there - that's one fact (regardless from anybody like it or dislike), and that doesn't seem to help "the rebels" much - that's another fact.

If you ask my personal opinion on international affairs - NATO should not be there at all, and actually should not even exist, EU should have one single representative in UN, all members of UN should have votes accordingly to their contributions, but that as irrelevant as this guys being anything

That's pretty awesome. Makes you see how to make the best of a $hitty situation. Think about the possibilities with a small dc motor, a 9v battery, and a 10/22 with a 50 round drum. Time to stock up on batteries and .22LR!
