Less expensive option is to install an external antenna for the operator via coaxial cable, problem solved.
Been a garage door guy for almost 14 years.

Does that mean if I install nothing but LED lights in my house, I can take my tin foil hat off and 'they' still won't be able to read my thoughts? :D:

We've had 2 random openings this year. I'm suspecting a bad manual switch next to the back door, but this problem has started since we updated the kitchen with proximity sensor and LED lighting in the kitchen.
Also the house is about 90% fitted with the compact fluorescents , Including 4 in the openers and 3 additional in the garage.

I really don't understand how a fullwave rectifier and a cluster of light emitting diodes would emit any type of RF unless it was arcing and sparking, then you would have a bigger problem than your door operator malfunctioning.
Perhaps the oh so retarded media was confused and meant CFL,which do put out RF and comes with an FCC sticker right on it.
