Leatherwood optics

Do any of you have experience with Leatherwood scopes?
They have a good reputation but I would like to hear from somebody with personal experience.

I'd not heard of them, but sure looks interesting.
I'm thinking about a rather highline rifle and can't decide on a scope...if I buy it (rifle).

My uncle said he saw a bunch of the snipers they ferried around in Vietnam with this model.
If its good enough for them I think I could make due with one.
