In a SHTF scenario, I figure knowing more than one language would be a good idea. Spanish seems like the best option due to where I live. Do you think something like Rosetta Stone is a good investment? I tend to lean towards that versus other methods because it has voice recognition software. I tried livemocha and but have mixed feelings on a peer review system. I know I can listen to spanish tv, radio, etc. but would like something more interactive.
So, basically I was thinking of working on Rosetta Stone until I know enough vocabulary to people who already know spanish. I have enough friends I can talk to here and there, but nobody has time to give lessons. I also took two years of spanish in high school 10+ years ago, but remember enough to have a basic foundation.
