Considering the average person's coordination and dexterity levels, it shouldn't be too long before some moron tries that technique on the range and shoots himself or someone close by.

It wouldn't be much of a joke if had he accidentally shot the person with the video cam or anyone else. Using a firearm and live ammunition to make a joke video is a pretty stupid idea.

Stupid or not, it was entertaining, or at least to me it was. No one got hurt, and knowing who that was, I seriously doubt anyone was in any position to do so.
If youre dumb enough to believe thats an actual technique, then you have other issues that need addressed.
If it really bothers you, dont go on You Tube, or most other places, and put me back on your ignore list and that should solve it. :thumb:

Actually, the way their doctrine "used" to say to do it (hold gun in the left hand, reload with the right), caused a couple of the nastiest lock ups Ive ever encountered with the AK's, and its not at all fun. It also wasnt all that uncommon.
The mag gets locked in the gun, sitting too low to strip a round, the mag release is jammed, and you cant get the mag back out by hand. It does require a boot to get it back in action.
From what Ive seen lately, they seem to have moved on and arent near as backwards as some will have you believe. With a little experience and practice, you can reload an AK just about as fast as you can an AR.
Is that how the russkies do it?.
The way a quick reload is done use left hand with mag hut release lever
new mag pushes old out in and lock back move arm under and rack slide alot faster and allows you to stay on target
