..may be the END..??According to ancient Chinese documents, the Mayan calender & certain biblical references,we just may be 4 years from the end of time, before you just label this as nonsense, give this vid a look & see if things ain't fallin' into place. Please note, during the anti-Christ segment, several images & some world leaders are shown...this was the video producers' choice & is mere speculation.I remain neutral on this subject..!

I have researched 2012 extensively. I have found it to be a fascinating subject, if you can get by all the BS and get down to the Science & history. In my reasearch I have found that none of these old cultures predicted the end of time. What they predicted was the passing from one age to another. What that means is pure speculation on our parts. This due to the unfortunate distruction of ancient text destroyed by the discovers of the new world. Each sign of the Zodiac represents an age. We are about to enter the age of Aquarius. The written history that has been passed down to us has revealed that the passing from one age to the next has not been kind to us. The historical documents show that either man was at war with man or nature was decimating man at the end of each age. Coincidence, maybe. But I believe it's this history that is fueling the speculation of the end of the world. My research has led me to believe that we are heading for a change in 2012. What I am not sure. Many people have a proplem with the difference between the end of the world & the end of civilization. With the way things are playing out. The end of civilization as we no it my just what this world needs.

The kind of breakdown I expect is something like what we saw in the novel The Stand. Basically technology would still exist but the world population will be decimated by an event so profound that it changes everything.

I wouldn't say it's nonsense. Some of those oracles have been quite accurate over the years. Even without the oracles we know that history tends to repeat itself. The fossil record indicates several mass extinctions throughout the history of the planet. It will happen again, this is something that both scientist and people of faith agree upon. NASA has spent an enormous amount of money tracking potential killer asteroids in and around our solar system. Most of those scientist feel like eventually something is going to hit this planet and do some serious harm.

As to the year 2012. Seems possible to me. It would be the end of Obama's first term and he is the only president I have ever heard of described as a messiah or savior. Frankly when I heard that my skin crawled. The name antichrist comes to mind.

I think the president elect is more a threat to our existence than ancient nonsense.

Or look at it this way.... We don't govern people the way folks were governed 2000 years ago -- we have rights. We don't educate people the way folks were educated 2,000 year ago -- women are not barefoot and pregnant. We don't legally treat people the way we treated folks 2,000 years ago -- you can have your day in a fair court. We don't think scientifically today as they did 2000 yeas ago -- empiricism is dynamic not static. We are appalled with the religious act like it is 2,000 years ago -- ever wonder why less and less folks belong to mainstream churches? Theres your answer. We don't medically treat people the way we did 2000 years ago -- chants and sacrificing animals doen't work. We don't act that way today because most ideas from 2000 years ago sucked big time. But now, somehow, the dead primitive soothsayers from the distant past are somehow oh so right? I won't loose sleep over that. I will loose sleep over a whimpy socialist for president with a radical Congress in his back pocket.

I believe there is some truth to the Mayan calender. I have studied the subject pretty thoroughly and with the current state of the world and it's escalating problems, I am left to conclude that there is validity in it.

I'd like to correct you on something though. Most people believe that the Mayans prophesied the end as 2012, when in fact they prophesied the beginning. It is the death of the third dimension and the start of the fourth and fifth. It is commonly referred to as the "Golden Age".

I don't like authority per se, which is why I am a life long bachelor. What I don't like is adults acting like children. This nation would be far better off if a lot of adults grew up and behaved like adults. There is probably no nation on earth with such a problem of arrested development and adult adolescence than the US. Part of being an adult is questioning authority but doing so as an adult, not as a self-centered sniveling 35-year-old juvenile.

As for Obama, the adult thing, if one disagrees with him, is to work towards him not being re-elected. That I shall do, if we are all still here four years from now and not nuked into third-world status. A socialist whimp leading a nation of juveniles is going to be attacked. That I think is a far greater possibility than that pathetic nonsense of dead primitives.

Said another way, I don't think we have to find our agent of demise from the babbling of past peddlers of nonsense but from the babbling of current peddlers of nonsense.

Don't mean to sound a bit rude, but I just can't see it. If I'm wrong I'll be sure to say 'my bad' and do a quick conversion.

The Mayan Calendar Comes North - Ian Xel Lungold

This 3 hour DVD is a presentation based on Dr. Calleman's break thru discoveries of the structure of the Mayan Calendar as it relates to the Evolution of Consciousness. "Ian takes a complex subject such as the Mayan Calendar and makes it very easy to understand on a personal level." He also clearly points out how the Schedule of Creation can be tracked when one looks at past historical events and relates that information to what to expect in the near future leading up to 2012. This 3 hour DVD also includes questions from the audience and is the fastest way to get up to speed on the topic of the Mayan Calendar.
