I will tell you this, after you use a Kurki Machete, you will never go back. Up until a few years ago, I did not know how each using a machete could be.

With the weight towards the front of the blade, this chopping and hacking tool is very easy to use.

The Kurki in the pictures below is my personal Cold Steel Heavy Terrain Chopper. This model is no longer made.

They work great.
I have a similar machete, that I have used for years.
It is an M1917 Marine Bolo, wood handle, canvas/leather sheath.
Heavy as h3ll.
It was issued, to me, by the Air Force..go figure.

I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for that machete. I have the crappy $12 wal-mart type machete and desperately need to get a new one.

Those bolo type machete's look real nice and durable.
