What do you guys think about the Ka-Bar caster to add to a survival kit ? And adding a couple fishing yoyos .

YoYo's can be good, they fish while you doing something else.

Not worth $20 IMHO, YMMV.

You can do the same thing with a water bottle and then you have a useful water bottle as well. Although I am not a fan of spending money or items that look "tactical"

Not my first choice for fishing gear. I carry a light wt telescopic spin rod and reel.

My experience is bait and lure placement is critical to fishing success. I need equipment to help cast precisely, and often cast over obstructions.

Once i locate a good area where natural bait works, I prefer attaching heavy braid line to seedling trees, instead of mechanical yoyos.
