It just occurred to me that they may be doing everything they can to keep her alive, up to and including life support to get her into Trump's 4th year and then let her go. That way the left can attempt to use the Biden rule to keep him from appointing a replacement. Probably won't work since McConnell is running the senate, but they sure can sure try to make a mess of things..
I believe the Biden Rule applies to "lame duck" Presidents. Which isn't the case with Trump as he can run (and most likely win) in 2020.

As to RBG I would venture her clerks have been writing her opinions for some years.

To be more precise, the rumor was that she was "brain dead" (aka senile) but still voting in absentia on important Supreme Court issues that she is no longer mentally capable of understanding.
Isn't that true of the typical leftist anyway no matter in the prime of their life or not?

Only four justices attended in 2018. That’s about average.
From USAToday:

Only four of nine Supreme Court justices attend Trump's 2019 State of the Union address

  • President Bill Clinton's 2000 address, coming a year after his Senate impeachment trial, was the last to strike out completely; the entire Supreme Court stayed away.
  • Retired Associate Justice John Paul Stevens, now 98, never attended during his 35-year career.
  • The late Associate Justice Antonin Scalia stopped going in 1997 after deciding it was a "childish spectacle" that did not deserve a row of justices to "give it dignity."
  • Associate Justice Samuel Alito stopped attending after becoming part of the story in 2010. He was seen on television shaking his head and mouthing the words "not true" when Obama criticized the court's Citizens United v. FEC ruling...
  • More than once, Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has appeared to nod off during the speech, which can drag on for more than an hour. She did so in 2013 and again in 2015, later explaining that the justices had dined together before the speech to the accompaniment of a fine California wine. "I wasn't 100 percent sober," Ginsburg acknowledged.
  • Trump should benefit Tuesday from the attendance of his two nominees, Associate Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, along with Associate Justice Elena Kagan, an Obama nominee and State of the Union stalwart.
  • Roberts, who in November rebuked Trump for calling a federal district judge who ruled against him in an immigration case "an Obama judge." His role as chief justice makes him a sure bet to be there – in body. "To the extent the State of the Union has degenerated into a political pep rally," he said in 2010, "I'm not sure why we're there."

She has not been to a SOTU held by a republican president ever.

If she has died or incapacitated, the dem's are in utter scramble mode. She should have retired under Obama's first term.
Actually, life tenure means that if she is in a coma, she is still on the Court, and the cap on the number of justices would prevent Trump from nominating her replacement. She would have to be impeached. Otherwise, she could live on as a human vegetable until a Democrat is elected President. And we all know how the Democrats in the Senate would vote if she were impeached.

The President has to have yearly physicals. Here's his this year, showing a clean bill of health.

Now, when will RBG's physical be made public?

Death has never been a determent to Dems voting.
Time to repeat that old joke, which may not actually be a joke.

"My daddy was a staunch conservative who only voted for Republicans in every election. Sadly to say, since his passing he now only votes for Democrats."

To be more precise, the rumor was that she was "brain dead" (aka senile) but still voting in absentia on important Supreme Court issues that she is no longer mentally capable of understanding. If true, that means someone else who has not been properly nominated & confirmed is illegally voting for her. ;)

Just Demokrats doing what Demokrats NORMALLY do!

It's the Party Line!

Today, for the first time since surgery RGB has returned to the SC for a private conference.

I had previously heard, off the record, the the surgery was significantly more than removing two small tumors. It was confirmed today that doctors removed about half of her left lung. That does not bode well for her. But it also indicates she will probably never retire. At least until she is unable to perform her job.

I no longer accept "photos" or "images" as proof of anything much less a report.

it's getting to the point unless I can stick a needle in a random part of a body of a "person" and draw blood it's all suspect.

funny how she decides to show her face the same day as the SOE declaration is made. no room in the news for "HEEERRREEES RUTHIE!!!"
