Weeks-long curfew for wylin' young partiers at a seaside resort town's business district...

There's a lot of amazing stuff rn on social media, including from msm accounts, about this year's spring break in Miami Beach, Florida-- chaos.

I posted this not just to dab on these people, but also because I think it indirectly shows you something about prepping. The zombies are real. They do not need a food or power shortage to misbehave. Instead they could do it, by the thousands, just to show off that they are hard partiers, and that they know of a cool place to go. If this is what they do for little reason, think of what they may do for a lot of reason.

Wondering how many of these zeds will have to be fought during the zompoc because it wasn't legal to fight them now....

Possibly the worst thing I heard is that a lot of them are skipping restaurant and bar checks, probably for "woke" reasons, I bet. One social media post said that a $2,000 bill (before tips) was skipped on, and that restaurant staff has been chasing them into the street and tackling them.

Also see the amazing stats on the purple CNN slide.

Situation also shows what's wrong with tourism, how big it's become.

Coronavirus was not a good enough excuse to abuse this beach town this way!

Just imagine, 80+ illegal firearms seized from these people, and liberals aren't complaining, because the optics aren't right

I love that pic of ocean drive. Probably what happened is one guy who knew what he was talking about told his friends its a sexy place... and they told their friends, with the help of social media, email, texting, and cell phones, and it got spread exponentially to more and more people... With the result that, when you show up there at the appointed time, you're in the middle of a pesky, excessive tourism crowd, and all they can do is look at each other. And probably almost none of them know what to do there, instead most of them are just going to stand in their sneakers for a few hours, hoping the most sexy person in the world sees them and picks them up.

It's probably a lot better to be there when there are no spring breakers around... 😂

Coop them up make them wear masks scare the crap out of them and then tell them there is a great place for spring break where everything is as it once was. Then stand back and see what happens...LOL

This is just the started of what is shaping up to be a long and manic summer...

Yeah, I don't so much see them as jerks, outside of the ones skipping out on tabs and other dishonorable behavior. I see them as people who are in a low risk group that are sick and tired of being restricted in what should be the most free and fun period their lives. Add alcohol and there you are!

I suspect that if I were 40 years younger, I'd have been with them or at least in similar circumstances. I didn't do college so I never did Spring Break. My whole life was like Spring Break back then. Sometimes 60 has a way of forgetting what 20 was like.

Chinese love this crap....with the new mutations spreading fast in Florida ...40 to 90 percent more transmittable and 61 percent more deadly according to a new science journal out yesterday by one of the best in the world. Those party groupies with no symptoms but carriers will spread that new virus all over the whole USA and wreak the economy one more time....so they can buy more businesses buy homes and more property like they are doing right now. And if you read about it they are buying it through third-party means..... China is a major holder in stocks of 2,500 companies in the USA right now so it is made in American but owned by the Chinese. Everyone keeps this up....and we should be speaking Chinese in about five years.

I just can't work up a damn to give. Don't know why. I'm becoming more disengaged?

I'm also a news junkie, and my two cents on the matter is this---people are sick of wearing masks, being told where they can go and not, places closed/limited service, and endless lies from the MSM. Wear your mask, don't wear your mask and come down and party (Remember Pelosi's own drunken words at the beginning of the pandemic? I do) then no, wear two masks, then one mask will do. Or will it?

People are sick of the bull****. Catch it or not catch it, it doesn't matter to them. Frankly, it doesn't matter much to me but that's my own opinion. We can't live the rest of our lives cowering inside our homes because we fear getting sick. Any one of us could die in a car wreck, pop an aneurism, be diagnosed with cancer (I've survived it three times now) or fill in the blank. People are sick of being controlled like animals in a circus.

And it's not just here. There have been protests all over the world, millions of people in total tired of being penned up and deprived of their natural lives.

This Florida issue is what, partly spring break/partly pandemic protest.

It is spring break time, don't forget. Is that what's really going on? Young people refusing to have their spring break ruined?

Let them catch it, or not, strain after strain will come along just as influenza and rhinovirus do. It's not going to go away, ever. It's endemic, it now has a permanent reservoir in the population.

Time to get back to life.

Miami Beach PD has on their twitter account that they have confiscated only 8 (EIGHT) firearms. ( ) That is a lot less firearms that the MSM is reporting. Also the figure that at least 50% of those arrested were from out of state. That means that 50% of those arrested are Florida resident. Seems like a lot of local/in state folks causing trouble

Just an observation
Im in Miami Florida right now (at night) and we drove by south beach just to see what the commotion is all about.
Um 80% of the people were black and 30% of them are looking for a fight or trouble.
We didnt even get out of the truck, we felt like a fish out of water.
Avoiding trouble is the best answer here, it did not look like fun at all, plus no-one was wearing masks.
Good Luck..

Fond memories of Miami Beach.

Once my boss and I were surveying some fire station project, standing on Collins Ave at noontime with our business suits on. Southbound car comes around the bend honking the horn wildly at us, two chicks. The one in the passenger side hanging out the window flashing her huge tits.

Never thought to call the cops and report that I was being sexually harassed.

I was working with the City Manager at the time and he would take us out in his city car on the beach to see the European topless sunbathers! None of that would work out today!

Now that cruises are starting back up, all the vaccinated retires can get together at their cruise dinner and bitch about those kids again.

It's approaching critical mass. The more people who get vaccinated the more who will refuse the orders. You can't vaccinate them and then continue the current policies. Well you can if you want your party to lose elections.

Who knew conservatives were the counter culture and Democrats are the man.

I heard of spring break when I was in college in 1974. Some guys in my classes drove down, actually ran into a much-despised math professor we had on the beach in Fort Lauderdale.

Actually knew a few guys who ventured down there in 1972 in high school with a '64 Chevy with a massive oil leak, 22 quarts used on the trip.

We used to go down to southern Florida, the past 3 years but we always got out before the kids came in like locusts. Bike Week in Daytona, or even Speed Week was like a monk retreat in comparison.

All I see now is a bunch of entitled kids out to get blind with no consideration for property or anything else. I also wonder how many are in college, I'd say that more then a few save up for the trip every year. From what I hear it is rife with date rape drugs, male sexual predators, possibly sex traffickers. Definitely a haven for drug dealers.

We were different as kids and anyone I hung out with avoided mob scenes like that. We liked quieter places to get our drink on, if we were out of town like out at Montauk or the Hamptons we knew how to behave.

I'm definitely not saying abolish spring break or something...

This is the first year I can remember seeing it like this. I've seen a ton of videos of people viciously fighting, especially girls rumbling.

It's nuts. And just think, the trend in the law is that you're never supposed to fight anybody unless it's self-defense and you can't escape. Or unless you have to defend someone else who's put in danger. That's officially what's considered right, more or less, by America's leaders. How many of these spring breakers really were put in a position where they had to fight to save life or limb?

There's such a thing as too much of a good thing. In fact a big flaw of a lot of left-wing thinking is that they don't acknowledge that. On the one hand, they have environmental experts who claim the world should only have 1 billion people. On the other hand, others of them argue that the world can feed many billions more people than are here already, and advocate for America and the first world taking in more and more immigrants, with no end or cap suggested. Guess which argument is prevailing among them? Even though they should know that creating more and more middle-class, suburban, First World people puts their environmental goals further and further out of reach.

Same thing here. There really shouldn't just be unlimited partying and unlimited tourism. Tolerance of partying may be the right answer, at first, except, how big (and bad) of a party should you really tolerate.

And I figure corona checks are getting spent on these trips to spring break... They could be paying down debt with them instead.

As recently as a couple days ago, Bernie Sanders was arguing that social welfare should prevail over space programs. This is really a bottomless pit, but left-wingers want people to buy into it as much as possible. And they are, to the point of rioting in the streets. They think a rivalry with China isn't something worth paying attention to. Some kind of a logical limit or end to social welfare just isn't part of the left-wing's discussion of it, or their official policy. Instead the unspoken ideology is just that there's no practical limit to it. That's where the liberal Pied Piper is bringing all America's and the west's left-wing kids towards. America and the west are supposed to immediately create a perfect life for every poor person in the world. No other policy is supposed to more important.

Here are some updated statistics....

Over the past 6 weeks-- when the Miami Beach police increased their presence for spring break-- there have been 1,050 arrests, 102 firearms seized, 182 of the arrests involved obstruction or resisting arrest.

"On Saturday, the city declared a state of emergency ... A crowd on Ocean Drive refused to submit to the curfew later that evening, and that was when officers in bulletproof vests released pepper spray balls to break up the party... A curfew-defying crowd showed up again Sunday night."

In nearby Ft. Lauterdale, spring break has been peaceful.

I live on the beach. Our curfew is officially extended until April 12. Ft. Lauderdale has seen some action since the curfew was enforced. Hardly any of these party goers are in college and most aren’t even local.

Honestly, you need to see, hear and smell it all to appreciate wtf is going on. When bars close bc they can’t collect money......wtf. 10 k tabs....lil gun play, stampede, stolen card.....gone. Only the best of the best.

We didn't check the dates on our honeymoon  and went to Galveston for the motorcycle bike rally. It was INSANE motorcycles everywhere. Tatted up bikers everywhere we went even the nice places (and they made loads more money than we did). We never did it again - we went back to Galveston but we checked the schedule first!

Lived in Coconut Grove in the 80's. Was used to nice beaches in the Caribbean. It was disappointing to find, even back then, the size of the crowds during weekends, and the huge amount of litter. The sand was filled with cigarette butts.

"Oh no they weren't wearing masks or social distancing!!!"

Here's my jerk opinion on it.
All the old farts should've gotten their Covid shots by now. They need to stop being Karens and worrying what yutes are doing with their lives.
